The Benefits of Viscose Sleepwear

The Benefits of Viscose Sleepwear

Choosing the right sleepwear is essential to getting a good night's sleep. Comfort is key, but the fabric is equally important. The feel of the fabric against the skin can make a huge difference in how well you sleep. One fabric that has been gaining popularity in recent years and is one of our signature fabrics is viscose sateen.

Viscose cotton sateen is a type of fabric that is made from viscose, a plant-based material. It is known for its silky texture and subtle shine, which makes it a great choice for sleepwear. It is soft and gentle against the skin, which can make for a more comfortable and restful sleep.

One of the main benefits of viscose is its breathability. This fabric is allows air to circulate freely, which helps to regulate body temperature and prevent overheating. This makes it an excellent choice for people who tend to get hot at night or those who live in warmer climates. It also has moisture-wicking properties to help you stay cool and dry throughout the night especially if you suffer from night-sweats or are experiencing menopause hot flushes.

Viscose is also known for its softness. It has a luxurious feel against the skin, which can help you feel more comfortable and relaxed as you sleep. This is especially important for people with sensitive skin who may find other fabrics to be scratchy or itchy. Viscose is also hypoallergenic, which means it is less likely to cause irritation or allergic reactions.

Another benefit of viscose is its durability. It is a fabric that can withstand regular wear and tear, making it a great choice for sleepwear that will be worn and washed often. Unlike other fabrics that may lose their shape or texture after multiple washes, viscose maintains its smoothness even after multiple washes. It is also a low-maintenance fabric that doesn't require any special care or treatment.

At Magnolia Lounge, we offer a range of high-quality viscose sleepwear options that are perfect for a restful night's sleep.

We offer three types of viscose fabric, viscose cotton sateen, viscose cambric and viscose elastane.

Ariana Floral Viscose Cotton Nightie

Viscose cotton sateen is our signature fabric which is made with a blend of viscose and cotton, which provides the perfect combination of softness, breathability, and durability. We use viscose cotton sateen in our winter sleepwear collections and makes a great alternative for those that get too hot during the night in flannelette.

Viscose cambric is one of the softest and lightest fabrics that we offer and is more finely woven than our viscose sateen fabric. It's also is a more affordable alternative to silk and doesn’t trap heat, which makes it perfect for the hotter months. Because of its lightweight properties, we love using viscose cambric in our summer sleepwear collections to keep you cool even on the hottest nights.

Jasmine Viscose Elastane Pyjama Set

Viscose elastane is a lovely stretchy fabric which has a soft, silky smooth finish which feels lovely and cool against your skin.  The stretch element of the fabric creates the perfect fit, keeping you comfortable all night long. We use viscose elastane fabric all year round in both our winter and summer collections.
